I have raised 3 children. I grew up in Liberia, lived in Dijon, France for 18 years and since 2016 I have lived here in Winston-Salem. I have recently taken certification courses for Clerical Assistant and Substitute Teaching through Forsyth Tech Community College.
I have also been a caretaker for the elderly and have experience as a babysitter also.

What are your most important teaching goals for the children in your class?

I would like to foster and encourage a curiosity and a love for learning. It’s my hope that my young students experience a sense of joy and happiness every day in class and that laughter and music become parts of our daily routine.

What do you like most about your job?

Welcoming and seeing the smiling faces of the children as they arrive at school. I love to hear their stories and watch and interact with them as they interact with each other. I also am delighted to discover their interests and how they are discovering their own unique talents as they open up their beautiful minds to the world around them.
