I have a Bachelors degree in Family and Human Development with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education from Utah State University. I am a mom to three fantastic kids and most recently nannied for a family of two for the last three years. I have taught for much of my adult life in my church’s children and youth ministry.

What are your most important teaching goals for the children in your class?

My biggest goal for the Wood and Clay shop is for the children to learn the process behind creating a project as they become comfortable and confident working with basic tools and enjoy creating with different types of clay.

What do you like most about your job?

I love watching children working hard to create something special. They are smart and have creative minds. I am excited to teach them new skills and to see how these children grow confident in their abilities.
