What are your most important teaching goals for the children in your class?

I strive to build age-appropriate skills, which will be needed during their Pre-K year. These skills include listening, patience, self-help, respect for others, confidence and independence. I also strive to create a love for learning through engaging lesson plans, fun activities and positive affirmation.

What do you like most about your job?

I love working in a Christian environment where we are able to teach children about God’s love for them and the world around them. I especially enjoy the age group that I teach, as I get to watch them transition from young, dependent 2 to 3 year-olds into confident and independent 3 to 4 year-olds. I also love all of the HUGS that I receive on a daily basis. You just can’t beat that!
