At St. Paul’s Preschool, the main goals of our Infant Program are to foster close partnerships with each family, and to provide an environment that promotes positive social, emotional, and cognitive development. Our teacher/student ratio for our infant classroom is 2:6 or 3:9. We believe this approach lays the very crucial groundwork for future interactions and learning.
Our activity plans are often inspired by the teaching resource, “The Creative Curriculum,” and provide valuable opportunities for growth through free play and discovery. We engage the whole child by offering developmentally appropriate toys and activities, including a weekly visit from our school’s music teacher.
When we venture outside, we invite the children to safely explore play equipment, bubbles, plantings, weather and many of God’s other wonders!
